Do I have to pay a setup fee?

No, we do not charge any setup fees

How long will I be locked in to a contract?

We don’t lock people into yearly contracts. Accounts are billed month-to-month so you can cancel anytime.

Do you have any free trials for your products?

We offer a product tour for those who are trying to decide if Our service is right for them. Contact us for more information on getting setup with a free product tour.

What is a free product tour?

A product tour allows you to connect with one of our account representatives via online video so he can demonstrate how the product works and answer any questions you may have.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, We offer different discounts, including pre-paid yearly discounts. Check the pricing page or contact us to find out more.

Is there a discount for having multiple users/devices on my account?

We have the perfect solution for our enterprise customers, depending on your account and how many users/devices you will have on your account, we will create a custom plan to fit your needs.

How do I sign up for your service?

It’s easy to sign up! It only takes two simple steps. 1. Go to the *** sign up page and fill out the secure online form. Choose which option best fits your needs. Submit your payment information through our secure system using Stripe. 2. Click the link form our website, or from your device, go to the App Store and Search for “Tech Tool Belt”. Once you have downloaded the app you can Start using it right away.

I have signed up, now how do I access my subscription?

After your initial sign up, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that your account has been activated along with a password for your account. Once you have received your activation email, enter in your user name and password. You will be able to start using your account on your device immediately.

There is an update for your app available, do I need to do anything before I download it?

Yes, before you download and install the update, make sure that you backup all your current projects. You can either email your projects or if you have cloud support, you can save them to our cloud servers. After backing up, you can download the update. ***

What devices will the app work on?

The app will work on all iPad mini’s, iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPad Air. Although whatever device you have, you will have to make sure that your device has iOS 7 or newer.

Are your products available in the US?

Yes, we are a US based company. All our products are available in the US based app store.

Are your products available outside of the US?

Our products can be downloaded outside of the US. However we don’t currently offer support outside the US.

How can I suggest ideas for improvements or features I would like to see in the app?

We welcome all suggestions and ideas. We are constantly working to improve our products to provide our customers with an easier way to run their business. All you have to do is, go to our contacts page and submit an email to us. In the subject field, enter in “Suggestion box”.

What if I need support on how to use the app?

We have product tutorials you can reference, if you need further assistance you can email us with any other questions.

I am outgrowing my current plan, can I change my plan?

Yes, you can change your plan anytime.

Do you offer product setup and training?

We provide free product tutorials. However if you need more in depth training, we offer an enterprise solution for a fee.

What devices or platforms are your products available for?

Our apps are currently only available on the iOS platform for iPad, iPad mini, or iPhone

Can I use your product on the job site?

Yes, our products are built to be mobile and can be taken anywhere.

Do I need a device with a data plan?

No, you do not have to have a data plan to use our products, however having an internet connection does make it easier to use some of the features.

Do your products work on the Android platform?

Currently our product are only built to work on the Apple iOS platform. We will be developing for the Android platform soon.

Can I use a stylus with it?

Yes, although some actions require multi-touch.

Can I customize the proposals with my company information and prices?

Yes, We make sure all of our products can be customized to fit your business.

Do I have to have two hands to use the sketch feature?

No, our sketch feature requires only one finger to draw.

Does your product only allow me to price 3-tab shingle roofs?

No, there are options to price out a complete roof system. Including accessories, gutters, and more.

Can I price out a low slope project?

Yes and No… You are able to create an accurate measurements takeoff for any roof. We also offer options to price out materials and labor for some low slope products and on a “Per Square” basis. We do not currently support all low slope products.

Can I attach notes to a project?

Yes, there is an area to attach notes as well as images

Can I attach images to a project?

Yes, you can attach images as you take them or from your photo library.

Am I able to make notes on images?

Yes, you can add text, arrows, highlight and even draw on images.

What is the Image Screen/Annotation for?

You can use the Images screen to show specific items or to explain details to your production crew or the customer.

Will I be able to use the App if there is too much tree coverage?

Yes, there is an option to turn on/off the map image. By turning the background image off, you can use the App to draw off the roof by providing some of your own on-site measurements. After creating the sketch, the App will calculate the totals and generate all reports.

What kind of reports does this App generate?

Our App will generate the following reports, a complete overhead diagram, all line item measurements, square footage by area, pitches by area, and all project images.

How many devices can I have on one account?

The limit of devices you can have, depends on your account. Some accounts have no device limits.

What format image can I import for my logo?

You can import any JPEG or PNG?

Is my account tied to only one iPad?

When you login to your account on your device there is a unique ID created for that device. If you wish to move your account to a new device, all you need to do is contact our customer service and we can make that change for you.

Do I need a credit card to use this app?

Our payment system will accept either credit or debit cards. We do not except cash or checks.

Do you set up an automatic draft?

Yes, We use a secure payment system called Stripe, and through it we setup automatic withdrawal for your account.

What do I do if I want to cancel?

First of all, we would hate to see you go, but we understand that sometimes you may have to scale back on services your paying for. In which case, all you need to do is go into your account setting and choose the option, “Cancel My Account.” Follow the simple steps and your done. No phone calls and no arm twisting to make you stay. We are confident that if you need to cancel, you’ll be back as soon as you can.

Will I get a monthly bill?

Since we set up an automatic credit card payment, instead of sending out a bill, we send out monthly invoices.

When will my credit card get charged?

Your card will be charged every month on the same day you originally signed up. If you signed up on the 29th-31st your account will be charged on the 1st. of every month.

Do you have a phone number for support?

Currently we only offer email support. We are hoping to have phone support setup soon.

How much does it cost to add an additional user?

All of our prices are per user / per account.

I’m not as busy as I thought I would be, can I downgrade my current plan?

Yes, you can change your account plan at any time.

Do I have to input my own measurements?

The App pulls measurement data directly from the map image, however if you want to use your own measurement, you can adjust the lines to a specific measurement.

Do I need a dongle to use your software?

No, our software only requires a user login to be accessed.

Do I have to backup my projects?

It is always best to backup all projects on other devices. However, we do have a cloud backup system for companies who sign up for it.

Do you sell hardware along with your software?

We do not currently sell any hardware.

Do you offer financing?

Since we do not charge a large one time licensing fee up front and all of our plans are already setup on a low monthly payment, we do not offer any other financing.

I can't login to my account, what's wrong?

First, make sure you're entering your email and password correctly. Passwords are case sensitive and if even one character is wrong you won't be able to login.

I'm trying to login and I've entered my email and password correctly, now what?

In some cases you may need to reset your password. Please follow the instructions below to reset your password.

I've forgotten my password, how do I recover it?

If you've forgotten your password, you'll need to go to the Pro Account login page and click the [Forgot Your Password?] button below the login form to the right side. From there just enter your email address and follow the instructions to reset your password. Sorry, but for security reasons we don't store your password and can't just send you your current password, instead, you'll have to reset your password and once you've done that and logged into your account successfully you can then set any password you'd like.
